Illustration Friday - Opposites

Apologies for the rather pretentious concept and naive presentation! What I had hoped to contrast here is the great simplicity of the universe at large, empty aside from a few curved structures and the complex angular world we have created for ourselves...

It's my first attempt at Illustration Friday and I'm hoping to be further inspired by these topics. I don't do much art, aside from dabbling in music, and I certainly need all the practice I can get.

Thanks guys, i wasn't expecting any feedback. have to say, i really enjoyed playing around with watercolours, and in a defined way (not my usual attempts at abstract, which never amount to much).
I wish there was an equivalent site for music, like a "Song Friday" or something. but for now i'm looking forward to this Friday's challenge!

Watercolors are funny. I always associated them with flowers and landscapes and other pretty, frilly stuff. But really, you can be as disturbing and wacko as you want with them. Plus, they don't stink up the house. That's what the dog is for.
